about

A brand new album from Sinclair & Abrahamsson; experimenting onwards through well-known territories of minimalist ambient structures and cut-up poetry until they reach a new level of refined impact. Inspired by the emotions in the wake of the demise of a dear friend, the album serves as a paying of respect as well as a cathartic channeling of sadness into the layers of the psyche. This album is a journey of introspection – equally for the subject, the artists, and for the overall human process itself. What we find inside ourselves during shocking and traumatic processes can guide us to a deeper understanding of how to work with the issue in question – and possibly other ones, too. Transformation is possible, no matter how traumatic the experience. It’s a soundtrack for memories, mourning, and meaning; emotionally blooming to send one human being off on a new adventure while the rest of us remain in awe of the fine line between life and death.

Dedicated to Jessica Marshall (1978-2020).

Thematically, they roam through the deep layers of the psyche that the strictly rational can never penetrate. Open to being open, open to collaborations, open to expanding the limitless even further. Essentially: don't be a stranger! ... more
